For each of the 9 pre-set programs instead of the 5 heating elements having a fixed wattage, Element IQ delivers the right power at the right time and when adjusted to taste, it even remembers. For the specific cooking task automatically puts the power where it is needed most.

You can choose from 9 pre-set functions: Toast, Bagel, Bake, Roast, Broil, Pizza, Cookies, Reheat, or Warm. Depending on the setting (Broil, Bake, Toast...) you have the ability to manage the temperature zones in the oven. In addition, there is a button for "frozen", which as far as I can tell adds some extra time to the timer.

The Breville BOV800XL can serve as a replacement for it larger cousin the conventional oven/range. Not only does the Smart Oven heat up faster than a conventional wall oven, it's also more energy efficient (using roughly 50% less electricity).

The oven door has magnetized areas that pull the oven rack about half way out when you open the door.This great concept makes it so handy to get your food out without reaching in and risking a burn.

The timer on the Breville turns the oven off at the end of any kind of cycle as you would expect - toast, bagel, bake, broil, pizza, etc. This is hugely wonderful compared to the Cuisinart unit which only turns itself off after toasting and you have to remember to turn it off when in any other mode.

The Breville BOV800XL include a 13-inch non-stick pizza pan, a 12x12-inch enamel baking pan, and a 12x2-inch enamel broil rack.The glass door has markings on it to tell you which position to put the rack in (bottom, middle or top), depending on what you're cooking

The layout is very simple and easy to control despite the fact that the oven comes with so many functions and LCD display is very easy to read. The temperature, function, and time controls are knobs. You simply twist to get where you want, and you can go slowly or quickly. This oven makes the greatest oven fries using the convection oven. It makes perfect toast which was the most important feature for many people.

Although this product has its disadvantages: the cord is a little short, the oven uses a maximum of 1800 watts which is basically all that a 15 amp circuit has to offer, there is no light inside the Breville.
